American pianist Frederic Chiu has built a formidable reputation on his ability to update concert traditions for our time. His innovative Classical Smackdown series invites the audience to weigh in while Chiu poses the musical question: Who would get the winning vote if two formidable composers for the keyboard went at it head-to-head?
