Tuesday, June 9, 3:30-5 p.m. Administrative/Humanities Building, Room 204

Please join Vice Chancellor Bill Spindle to wish Rick Shell happy retirement. Rick is retiring after more than eight years with the university police force. His last day is June 30, 2015.

Rick came to UAA from the Anchorage Police Department in September 2006. He began work as police officer and was promoted to chief of police in August 2010.

Rick is dedicated to the community, and participates in several organizations including Special Olympics "Freezin" for a Reason, Dare to Care, Blue Knight and others.

Rick looks forward to having more time for long rides on his motorcycle. So drive courteously around, wave at and smile at our local bikers... The rider might be the chief of police.
