Tuesday, June 23, 12-1:15 p.m. Rasmuson Hall, Room 106

Please RSVP to uaa_oiia@uaa.alaska.edu.

Take the first step in planning for an international educational experience as part of your UAA degree program-attend a Study Abroad 101 information session! Learn about the wide variety of exciting options in more than 60 countries, factors in choosing a program, the importance of working with your academic advisor, budget considerations, financial aid and scholarships to help pay for your experience, what your next steps are and more.

Opportunities abroad include internships, service learning, field studies, shipboard education and research, in addition to language immersion. Language study is encouraged, but there are a host of options offered in English, even in non-English-speaking countries. International experiences help students achieve UAA's International and Intercultural Learning Outcomes.
