Feel an earthquake? Stop, cover and hold on

by Michelle Saport  |

From your UAA emergency manager:

Wednesday's earthquake is a good reminder that the best response is to stop what you're doing and duck under a piece of sturdy furniture to protect yourself from falling debris. Grasp the furniture and move with it if it travels across the floor during the shaking. In other words: "Stop, cover and hold on."
