This presentation will explain when e-mails are considered student records under federal law and why it is significant to educational entities. Going further, the presentation will outline when emails are supposed to be used in the educational context, when they shouldn't be and how to effectively use them in the educational context. An ePortfolio is an online space where you can develop and enrich your professional identity for the purposes of self-reflection or, if desired, to share with others. Come learn about best practices for developing your own professional ePortfolio and the Digication tools available to help you create one. This session will include a one-hour presentation and discussion, followed by an opportunity to get hands-on with building your own ePortfolio in eWolf.
