Meet one of the candidates for ISER Faculty Economist - Feb. 8, 2016

by Jess  |

Monday, Feb. 8, 12-1 p.m. ISER Conference Room (1901 Bragaw Street, Suite 301)

ISER has been recruiting for two new faculty economists, and several finalists for those positions will be visiting UAA in February. Zhenhua Chen holds a Ph.D. in public policy and a master's degree in economics. He is currently a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Southern California. His research interests include transportation planning and policy and public finance. He has, for example, used computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling to assess the effects on regional economic growth of public investments in infrastructure.

Please join us to hear from a potential future ISER faculty member, and have the opportunity to ask him questions.

1901 Bragaw Street is on Bragaw between Northern Lights and Debarr. Parking is free.

Note: Those who can't attend in person can stream the talk live http://stream.iseralaska.org.
