Dr. Chad R. Farrell (Sociology) has published two articles in peer-reviewed journals. The first, titled "Still Large, but Narrowing: The Sizable Decline in Racial Neighborhood Inequality in Metropolitan America, 1980-2010," appears in the February issue of Demography, the flagship journal of the Population Association of America. The second article is titled "Is Immigrant Neighborhood Inequality Less Pronounced in Suburban Areas?" and appears in the journal Social Science Research. Both papers are co-authored with Glenn Firebaugh at Penn State University as part of an NSF-funded project investigating urban inequality in the United States.
