Alaskans interested in Indigenous healing and health are encouraged to attend the 2016 Alaska Native Studies Conference April 14-16 at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Attendees also can choose from nearly 50 panel discussions, workshops and presentations on topics ranging from ancestral paleo eating to traditional mental health practices.
The conference will highlight Alaska Native and Indigenous success stories and find ways to incorporate these healthy approaches into Alaskans' daily lives, including in business, government and healthcare.
