Reminder: Development Day 2016 registration closes this Friday
by Michelle Saport |
What is Development Day? Each year the University of Alaska Anchorage hosts a day dedicated to all employees, to thank them and celebrate their hard work throughout the fiscal year. It is a forum for personal development through workshops, networking and reinforcing connections with peers; and it's a platform for promotiang community engagement during the vendor fair. In short, Development Day is a day aligned to enhance and promote the UAA mission.
Each year the committee looks for ways to cut costs. With the support of volunteers, presenters, vendors and the community who offer their time and support, the committee was able to pare back on expenses costing the university very little this year.
2016 UAA Development Day will be Thursday, May 12.
