UAA's summer engineering academies are under way, with support from BP. Sessions on everything from coding and robotics to bridge design and alternative energy are available for kids to try both in Anchorage and in Mat-Su.

After interning with Institute of the North, Rachel Koons, B.A. '14, followed her Arctic interests (and Norwegian boyfriend) to Oslo. She's now fluent in Norwegian, employed as a relocation specialist and planning their wedding celebration on two continents later this summer.
