January 2017: Winter Teaching Academy co-hosted by CAFE, AI&e and CCEL

Mark your calendar for Jan. 10-12, 2017, for a Teaching Academy designed to get your spring semester off to a strong start! Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence, Academic Innovations & eLearning, Center for Community Engagement and Learning and UAA's General Education Program will offer a variety of sessions designed to improve teaching, learning and assessment.

The opening session features a presentation by Dr. Kathleen Blake Yancey, Kellogg W. Hunt Professor of English and Distinguished Research Professor at Florida State University.

Dr. Yancey, whose expertise encompasses the intersections of culture, literacy and technologies, will explore e-portfolios as a platform for improving students' written communication, reflection and knowledge transfer.
