Spring 2017: Take a break for wellness

Wellness breaks for spring 2017 (as of 2/23/2017): Wellness breaks are free and open to all UAA employees (including student workers). Breaks are low in intensity--no change of clothes required. This semester, breaks will be custom-tailored to meet the needs and goals of participating employees. Regular attendance is encouraged, but drop-ins are always welcome.
Meditation, led by Aaron Mondays, 11-11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, 10-10:30 a.m. Health Sciences Building, Room 381
Nutrition talks, led by Adam Mondays and Wednesdays, noon-12:30 p.m. University Center, Room 144
Fitness activities, led by Jamie and Bryan Tuesdays, noon-12:15 p.m. Professional Studies Building, Room 122C
Stretching and toning, led by Kyra Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-1:30 p.m. UAA Campus Bookstore, The Loft
Fitness activities, led by Tyler and Jun Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30-3 p.m. Allied Health Sciences Building, Room 207
Wellness activities, led by Bryce Wednesdays, noon-12:30 p.m. University Lake Building, Conference Room
Wellness walk, led by James Fridays, 2-2:30 p.m. Meet in lobby of UAA/APU Consortium Library
