Traffic impacts for first week of fall 2017 classes

by Michelle Saport  |

There are currently several ongoing projects from the city and local utilities that will impact traffic around campus for the first week of the semester. The work is weather dependent, so specific dates cannot be provided.

ML&P work in Providence Drive: the right-hand westbound lane from Spirit Dr. to Seawolf Dr. will continue to be closed into the week of the 28th. The right-hand eastbound lane from Spirit Dr. to UAA Dr. will be closed until the middle of the week of the 28th.

Municipality of Anchorage sidewalk addition on UAA Drive: MOA does not expect to complete their concrete work before Monday. Lane restrictions around this project will cause significant traffic impacts for southbound traffic and those accessing Alumni Drive from UAA Drive.
