UAA student Moira Phyala's internship with The Washington Center and volunteerism with Planned Parenthood in the nation's capital this summer was an empowering and eye-opening experience. Title IX: Sex and Gender Based Discrimination Prevention training is one of a number of preventive strategies UAA employs to raise awareness about sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, and domestic and intimate partner violence.
