Acclaimed scholar-activist Jackson Katz to speak about manhood and violence against women - Sept. 29, 2017

Jackson Katz, Ph.D., is an award-winning scholar-activist, educator, author and internationally acclaimed lecturer who is a pioneer in the fields of gender violence prevention education and critical media literacy. Katz speaks about American manhood and violence against women.

Come hear Dr. Katz speak on his experiences Friday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m. in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium.

Also consider participating in UAA's Take Back the Night March, happening directly before Katz' lecture. To join the walk, meet at the Alaska Airlines Center at 5:30 p.m.
