Biometric screening comes to UAA - Feb. 22 and 23, 2018

University of Alaska is pleased to announce that we will once again offer on-site biometric screenings for all employees, spouses and FIPs who are currently enrolled in the UA Choice health plan. Those who have not already participated in a biometric screening for FY18 (5/1/17-4/30/18) through your health care provider will be able to participate.

Still on the fence about participating this year? New for FY19, the $600 wellness rebate will now be distributed as a lump-sum payment! Previously this was distributed bi-weekly over the course of the fiscal year. Employees will now receive the full wellness rebate earned as a lump sum during a pay period in November 2018. This will still include the earned amount for any eligible spouse/FIP.

**Be sure to check your Healthyroads account beforehand-if you met the biometric outcomes with your FY17 biometric screening, you are not required to complete a screening this year!

Appointments must be scheduled online and you can access using the link below. All up-to-date information regarding the screenings is also posted on the UA benefits/wellness site.

Remember, that you can also complete this requirement by visiting your healthcare provider for an annual, preventive exam and submitting a healthcare provider form or at a Quest PSC (for those in Anchorage and Fairbanks). The UAA Student Health and Counseling Center may also complete these.
