IT Services emailing password expiration warnings to all UAA users

UAA IT Services has begun sending password expiration warning emails to all students, staff and faculty. The first email will be sent 14 days before their password is set to expire, and again two days before if it hasn't been changed yet. The emails direct customers to change their password using ELMO: https://me.uaa.alaska.edu

The format of the email that customers can expect to see is below:

Example of UAA Password Reset email. Hello Jane Seawolf, Your password for the University of Alaska system (jseawolf) will expire within the next 14 days. As part of our security policy, University of Alaska passwords automatically expire. If your password expires, you will no longer be able to use this account to perform primary functions within the University such as access UA email, UA Onlnie, and other University of Alaska resources. You can easily change your UA password at any time using elmo: https://me.uaa.alaska.edu. If you have any questions, please contact the UAA Call Center at callcenter@uaa.alaska.edu or (907) 786-4646. As a reminder, IT Services will never ask you for your password over the phone or by email.
