UAA launching accessible wayfinding system; campus mapping to occur July 26-28

UAA invites public comment on its qualifications for accreditation. Comments due by Sept. 8, 2018.

As part of the regular reaffirmation of accreditation cycle, the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is scheduled for a site visit by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) in conjunction with a year seven self-evaluation report. The visit will take place Oct. 8-10, 2018.

UAA helps recycle more than six tons of electronic waste

UAA Recycling teamed up with Total Reclaim to host an electronics recycling drive June 30, during which they collected 12,422 pounds—more than six tons!—of electronic waste.
