Seawolf Postal Express mailroom implements package scanning and tracking system

by Michelle Saport  |

The UAA Seawolf Postal Express mailroom is implementing a package scanning and tracking system!

Effective May 1, 2019, all inbound UAA packages for departments, staff, and faculty will be scanned when initially received in the mailroom, when sent out on route, and when delivered/signed for by our departmental customers. Customers will soon be receiving emails at their university email address letting them know the status of their package once out for delivery and when delivered. An employee signature will be required for all packages, unless a written waiver is provided. Signee does not have to be recipient unless specified by the sender.

We are excited to be able to more efficiently manage the volume of incoming packages, decrease the paper forms, and better serve the needs of our UAA community!
