UAA ITS Service Management ticketing system update

On Aug. 5, 2019, UAA Information Technology Services (ITS) will be switching to a new service management ticketing system called TeamDynamix (TDX). TDX is a robust service management software with a focus on Higher Ed, as well as K-12, Public Sector and Healthcare.
As part of Phase 1, UAA ITS will be converting all existing open tickets as of Aug. 3 from their current ticketing system to the new system, which will result in the assignment of new ticket #'s. As part of the conversion to the new system, students, faculty, and staff with active tickets will receive an email notification apprising them of the mapping of their old ticket # to the new one. This changeover will have no impact on the ability of UAA ITS to process tickets.
As part of Phase 2 (currently scheduled for late November), IT will roll out a Client Portal, where faculty, staff and students will be able to create and monitor their IT tickets, as well as search knowledge base articles to help them troubleshoot their technical issues.
