Oct. 13 and 14: Volunteers needed for Anchorage, Alaska College & Career Fair

Volunteers are needed for the 38th Annual Anchorage, Alaska College & Career Fair (ACCF) at the Alaska Airlines Center, to be held Sunday, Oct. 13 from 1-4 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m.-Noon. More than 100 universities, colleges and agencies, plus approximately 3,000 guests, will attend this year's event.

We are seeking 18-20 volunteers each day to donate their time. Interested individuals can register for one or more of the following days and times by emailing Chris Triplett at ctriplet@alaska.edu.

Sunday, Oct. 13:

• 9-11 a.m. (2 hours)
• 11-1 p.m. (2 hours)
• 12:30-2:30 p.m. (2 hours)
• 2:30-5 p.m. (2.5 hours)
• 1-4 p.m. (3 hours)

Monday, Oct. 14:

• 8:30-11:30 a.m. (3 hours)
• 11 a.m.-1 p.m. (2 hours)

Volunteers will help with an array of activities, including setting up (Sunday only), assisting with checking-in exhibitors, handing out event materials to attendees, assisting exhibitors with setting up their booths, assisting attendees by answering basic questions, and clean up for after the event (Monday only). Roles will vary depending upon volunteer availability and event needs.

Volunteers are a vital component in creating a welcoming and informative environment for the exhibitors and approximately 3,000 guests who will attend the ACCF.
