While there are no known cases in Alaska at this time, taking the proper precautions to prevent the spread of this illness are critical to protecting your health and the health of those around you.

Prince William Sound College is pleased to announce the Summer 2020 For Teachers professional development offerings for Alaska teachers. The line-up will include courses in technology, environmental science, math, chemistry and construction. Each course is based on a one-week summer experience followed by an implementation exercise during the fall.

IT Services has been working towards updating billing processes to be more efficient and timely. The new system will automate portions of the billing process resulting in more timely delivery of expenses to departments. With this, IT Services is updating the billing policy concerning fund/orgs. As of March 9, 2020, IT Services will only accept one (1) fund/org per billable service request ticket.

UAA is holding a community listening session focused on UAA’s expedited program review and administrative review on Wednesday, March 11, 6–7:30 p.m. in Lucy Cuddy Hall. A call-in option is now available. Participants will have the opportunity to provide two minutes of testimony. Faculty, staff, students, alumni and the general public are all invited to attend or call in.
