The UAA Office of Emergency Management reminds you that on Sunday morning, March 8, at 2 a.m. we need to turn our clocks forward one hour as Daylight Saving Time begins. It is also a good time to replace batteries in our home smoke detectors, and refresh the water in your emergency kits. For guidance on what to include in your kits, go to ready.alaska.gov.
