Webinar on Student Success During COVID-19

Dear UAA Faculty and Staff,

On Friday, May 8, from 10-11:30 a.m., Vice Provost for Student Success Claudia Lampman will share the results from a recent UAA student survey on learning during COVID-19. The survey assessed the challenges students experienced this semester related to the shift to alternate delivery including things that interfered with success in classes (e.g., inadequate internet or devices, financial hardship, COVID-related anxiety), course strategies they found most and least helpful (e.g., live classes on Zoom, recorded lectures, flexibility in due dates), and the support resources they were aware of and most needed (e.g., mental health, IT support, academic advising). Come learn about how to best support our students this summer as we continue to teach and work remotely.
