Join Concert Board — Gain entertainment industry and leadership experience

The UAA Concert Board needs seven members to join its ranks and help us bring up performances by big name musicians and comedians to UAA. In recent years, the Board has presented shows by Maggie Rogers, Nick Offerman, Atmosphere, Ron Funches, Macklemore, Demetri Martin and many others.

Financial Aid priority processing deadline is Sept. 4

The UAA Office of Financial Aid's priority processing deadline for Fall 2020 Student Payment Requests, Administration Scholarships, and UA Foundation Fund Payments Requests is Friday, Sept. 4, by 5 p.m. All requests received by this deadline are guaranteed entry by the UAA Fall 2020 Payment Deadline at 5 p.m. on Sept. 14.

David Weaver accepts executive director of Campus Services position

Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Bruce Schultz is pleased to announce that David Weaver has accepted the executive director of Campus Services position at UAA effective immediately. As executive director, David will lead the areas of housing operations and finance, campus dining, conference services, Alaska Airlines Center events management, Wendy Williamson Auditorium, a new Seawolf Gear Shop (apparel and branded merchandise), parking, mail room, print shop and campus recycling.

The UAA Office of Emergency Management reminds you to make an emergency plan. Your family may not be together if a disaster strikes, so it is important to know which types of disasters could affect your area. Know how you’ll contact one another and reconnect if separated. Establish a family meeting place that’s familiar and easy to find.

Enrollment Services seeks a dynamic individual to serve in an exciting new position focusing on customer service from a student experience design perspective. This position will be responsible for coordinating the first point of contact for individuals interacting with core university functions related to admissions, financial aid, registration, student records and veteran services.
