2020 Democracy & Civic Action Week runs Sept. 14-19

by UAA Center for Community Engagement & Learning  |

CCEL invites you to the third annual Democracy & Civic Action Week, Sept. 14-19, 2020.

Since 2018, UAA's Democracy & Civic Action Week has invited students, faculty, staff and community members to explore diverse perspectives about the role of democracy and civic engagement in the United States. This year's theme is Designing a Future for Democracy. Through a range of activities provided by departments, programs and organizations from across campus, presenters and participants are encouraged to learn from the past, to explore the issues of today and to imagine who we could be as a democratic society.
