UAA Facilities Planning and Construction is Hiring a GIS Technician

Facilities Planning and Construction (FP&C) is responsible for planning, budgeting, contract management, and construction of professionally designed buildings and facilities for the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) campus and its extended community campuses - Kenai Peninsula College (including Kachemak Bay Branch), Kodiak College, Matanuska-Susitna College and Prince William Sound Community College. UAA encompasses over 375 acres, has 99 buildings consisting of 3.6 million gross square feet of building space. The primary focus of FP&C is to ensure new construction, major renovations and alterations are designed to support the mission of the university and that physical development meets academic program requirements in support of all UAA campuses.

Oct. 30: Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Information Session

The Center for Human Development is seeking applications for an ECHO Clinic Coordinator. This position is expected to be highly visible across Alaska and to reflect the demeanor and priorities of the Project ECHO program. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for our multifaceted and exciting work. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn with a positive attitude are a must. Someone who can develop and maintain a website and content is desired. Experience coordinating meetings involving high-level individuals and large events/conferences is a plus. The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent writing skills and be self-motivated.

Oct. 26, 2020: Board of Regents to hold audio public testimony session

Alaskans will have an opportunity to offer feedback to the Board of Regents on topics of concern, interest or to provide input on any issue facing the University of Alaska. Public testimony provides for public input in advance of the board committee meetings Oct. 29-30 and the full board meeting Nov. 5-6. These meetings can be streamed at alaska.edu/bor/live.
