Nov. 20: GPS Digital Art Panel & Discussion

The Graphics and Publicity Services Team is having a Digital Art Panel Discussion on Friday, Nov. 20, at 5 p.m. via Zoom with Lucas Elliott, Michael Ardaiz, Lee Post and Hannah Foss. Join the disucssion at tinyurl.com/gpsartcomp.

  • Lucas Elliott - Lucas Elliott is a freelance illustrator who has worked in comics and children's book illustration for the last 10 years. His work has been published in the graphic novel Moose, IDW Comics, Upper Deck Entertainment and more.
  • Michael Ardaiz - Michael Ardaiz is the owner of Mad Dox Graphx, a graphic design studio founded in 1996. They work with retail, commercial, corporate, and non-profit clients to create identities, marketing materials, and communications. Michael is a founding member of AIGA Alaska: AIGA is the national organization for graphic designers.
  • Lee Post - Lee Post is an illustrator, teaching artist and graphic recorder in Anchorage. For twenty years, he has combined his love of illustration and comics with his work with youth and on community building and justice issues around Alaska.
  • Hannah Foss - Hannah Foss is a Digital Illustrator / CGI Animator at the UAF Geophysical Institute. She holds a BFA in Computer Arts (Honors) and a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Character Animation from Animation Mentor.
