Custodial service offerings during winter break closure

by Green & Gold News  |

During winter break (Dec. 24, 2020 through Jan. 3, 2021), Facilities will provide limited custodial services on UAA's main campus. It is important for the campus community to be cognizant of the reduction in custodial service, particularly during the pandemic. This minor and temporary service adjustment is in sync with the chancellor's earlier communication relating to the campus closure.

Campus is closed with very few exceptions. Student resource, support and service areas that will remain online for custodial services during the closure include the UAA/APU Consortium Library, the research labs found in the ConocoPhillips Integrated Science Building and the Natural Sciences Building, as well as the Ecosystem-Biomedical Health Laboratory building. Cleaning services will also be maintained for essential worker areas within the University Police Department and portions of Gordon Hartlieb Hall.

Campus custodial and disinfecting protocols will resume on main campus to provide a clean and safe environment for returning students, staff and faculty in time for re-opening on Jan. 4, 2021.
