Open forums for finalists for Shared Services Director position

Dear UAA Community,
As chair of the UAA Shared Services Director search committee, I am pleased to announce the finalists for the position and the process for virtual campus visits next week.
Our search generated international interest and produced a large set of initial applicants. Over several weeks, committee members reviewed the applications and interviewed seven of the most qualified individuals, leading us to the advancement of two outstanding finalists: Heather Paulsen of the University of Alaska Anchorage, and Laura Shevling of the University of Wyoming.
It is important we inspire active engagement of the UAA Shared Services team and our campus communities in the final stages of this search process. With that in mind, you are encouraged to attend a virtual campus forum held next week for each candidate.
Schedule specifics, finalist backgrounds and information for obtaining the virtual event can be found on the vice chancellor for administrative services webpage. Please save the dates for the one-hour virtual campus forums: March 10 and 11, both days from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
