Invite students to attend Fall Career Fair, Oct. 27

Attention, faculty! Please encourage your students to attend the Fall Career Fair virtually on Handshake, Oct. 27, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Career fairs are a great opportunity for networking, career exploration, and to secure a job or internship. With over 90 employers attending this event is not to be missed. (Check out the complete list here.)

Link academics to career readiness by assigning an informational interview as an extra credit assignment. Have students pay particular attention to questions regarding skills, extracurricular activities, and/ or experiences recommended by employers in order to best prepare for positions within their career field.

Students will register for this event on Handshake, and are always welcome to contact Career Services for more information or help preparing for this event.

Supervisors! This is a great professional development opportunity for your student workers! Consider having your student employees attend a portion of this event on paid time. Assign your employees our networking guide and encourage them to practice their networking skills.
