What’s the recipe for cooking up a perfect business plan? Along with essential ingredients, it takes time and practice. UAA students, community members, and Tom Case Leadership Fellows Academy scholars can get that practice during the 2022 College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) Business Plan Competition.

Please join us for the open forums for our Residence Coordinator (RC) finalists! Residence Coordinators are live-in, professional employees who play a vital role in welcoming and supporting residential students and providing on-call crisis support.

Please join me in thanking Vice Chancellor for University Advancement Megan Olson for her many years of inspiring service at UAA. Megan has informed me that she will leave her position at the end of the fall semester to spend more time with her family after seventeen years of dedicated university service and leadership.

Marci Suazo will join the UAA Office of University Advancement as director of public relations in December, leading the university's communications and public relations efforts.

The UAA Staff Council created a virtual gratitude wall to celebrate all UAA Staff during the month of November. Feel free to post a message of gratitude that highlights the work/efforts/goodness of staff with whom you interact.

The Office of the Bursar will be closed to in-person services Nov. 22, 23 and 24. Staff will be available via email and our call center will remain open during our normal business hours. Student account payments may be made 24/7 via UAOnline, checks may be placed in the Cashiering drop box. Departments may utilize the Cashiering drop box for deposits and should have all deposits delivered to Cashiering no later than noon on Wednesday, Nov. 24.

The Enrollment Services Center will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 24, for staff training.

The UAA Office of Financial Aid is pleased to announce the launch of a new online booking tool where students can quickly schedule a financial aid appointment.
