SENIOR NIGHT FINALE: Friday's meet will be the final appearance for just one senior as Kylie Reese will be honored in postmeet ceremonies ... after her former program, Seattle Pacific, dropped gymnastics following the 2020 season, Reese transferred to UAA and stuck with the Seawolves throughout the pandemic, quickly becoming a team leader ... in her lone competitive season in Green & Gold, the Oregon native has been a staple in the lineup, performing all-around a team-high five times, and posting new career highs on vault (9.7), bars (9.7) and floor (9.8).

SEAWOLF SUPERLATIVES: UAA has produced program top-20 bars totals in two of its last six meets, with the 48.650 against Centenary tying the 7th-best mark and the 48.450 at Air Force equaling the 17th-best mark ... the 48.675 on floor at Air Force meet tied the 11th-best Seawolf total on that apparatus ... Fr. Alyssa Manley made her collegiate debut Jan. 28 by tying the 15th-best bars score in program history with a 9.825 at Air Force, and she bettered that with a 9.85 against Centenary ... Manley has earned a 9.675 or better on all eight of her bars routines and 9.525 or better on seven or her eight floor routines ... the New Mexico native has also cracked the 38-point plateau on two of her three all-around efforts, including a UAA season-high 38.425 in the last meet at UC Davis ... the most experienced Seawolf, Jr. Rachel Decious earned the first three event victories of her career against Centenary, producing career highs on both beam (9.875) and bars (9.825) ... the Arizona native also owns UAA's best average on floor at 9.667 and second-best average on beam at 9.671 ... Fr. Jessica Johnson owns the Seawolves' top averages on beam (9.728) and trails only Manley on bars at 9.681 ... Johnson recorded UAA's season high on floor with a 9.825 at Air Force, along with 9.8s against Centenary (Feb. 13) and at UC Davis ... Sr. Kylie Reese (9.557) and Fr. Brooklyn Kopsack (9.556) are virtually tied for UAA's best average on vault this year, while Fr. Allie McClure owns the team's top individual effort with a 9.725 at Pitt on Feb. 6 ... the lone Alaskan on the roster, Kopsack is the only Seawolf to earn 9.5 or better on all eight vaults this year.
