UAA Summer Engineering Academies return to campus — apply by March 18

The UAA Summer Engineering Academies are back on campus with face-to-face camps in Anchorage and Mat-Su for students entering grades 3 through 12. This program is made possible by ConocoPhillips Alaska, with additional support from the MTA Foundation and Siemens.

Each week-long Academy is led by faculty from the UAA College of Engineering or experienced teachers with specialized expertise. Current engineering students also serve as assistant instructors. This year's topics include 3D Printed Robotics, Structure Destruction, Creative Coding, Corrosion Chemistry, LEGO Robotics, Wing Aerodynamics, Minecraft Coding and more!

The Academies are free for students that qualify for the Free/Reduced Lunch Program and $200 per week for all other students. The camp day runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. Lunch is provided at no additional cost. All learning levels are welcome.
