Raymond Weber selected as dean for UAA Community & Technical College

Dear UAA Community,

I am very pleased to announce that, following a full and open search, Dr. Raymond Weber has been selected as the dean for UAA's Community & Technical College (CTC).

As you know, Ray has served as interim dean for two years, and has served as a faculty member in the Aviation Technology Division for six years. He lead the college through the impacts of COVID-19 and FY22 budget cuts while simultaneously expanding programs in CTC. Ray has worked closely with numerous faculty throughout the college on curriculum and assessment, having previously served on the PICR committee, including serving as PICR chair before stepping in as interim dean. Recently, Ray has also served as the academic chair of Flight Operations.

I want to also offer my sincere thanks as well to the members of the dean search committee.
