Congratulations, Seawolves!

Dear UAA Grads,

It is a special time of year at UAA — when we celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates! On campus, you can feel the excitement as students wrap up final exams, swap stories about the semester and prepare to hear their names read aloud this weekend at the Alaska Airlines Center.

Your commitment to achieving this honor was hard-fought. We recognize the discipline it took and the sacrifices you have made. You have balanced the demands of life and school during a global pandemic. I hope  you celebrate with the friends, family members, classmates and faculty who helped you reach this moment.

Your transition from student to graduate is significant. We at UAA can’t wait to see where your path takes you after graduation — whether it’s an advanced degree, new career or a continuation of your current one. You now join a large family of more than 65,000 Seawolf alumni worldwide. I encourage you to become part of our UAA Alumni Association, which holds events throughout the year so you can stay connected.

Best of luck, and let’s celebrate together!

With Green & Gold gratitude,
Sean Parnell
UAA Chancellor
