On Oct. 14, UAA's largest campus tradition returned to the Alaska Airlines Center after two years of virtual celebrations. Nearly 400 UAA graduates reconnected with their alma mater while raising donations to benefit UAA programs and scholarships.

Bristol Bay Borough School District superintendent Bill Hill was named 2023 Alaska Superintendent of the Year during a banquet hosted by the Alaska Superintendents Association on Sep. 29. Hill will now be in the running for the School Superintendents Association’s National Superintendent of the Year award.
