New Grant Writing Course at UAA

In Spring '23, the Department of Writing is offering a new, two-credit grant writing
course. Topics to be covered include: evaluating funding opportunities, building relationships
with collaborators and community partners and drafting and workshopping a grant proposal.
Registration is now open and students, staff, faculty members and community members are all welcome to join.
The 11-weeks course is from January 17- March 28, and will meet weekly on Tuesdays
from 6-9 p.m. in the Aviation Complex. A hybrid option is available for those who
prefer to connect that way. Parking is free. There are no prerequisites for non-degree
seeking students, and WRTG A111 is the only prerequisite for students. Contact Andrew
