Anchorage, Alaska (Nov. 16) – Alaska Anchorage rightside hitter Larssen Anderson connected for a match-high 10 kills, but the balanced attack of Alaska Fairbanks was too much to overcome Saturday in a 25-18, 25-16, 26-24 loss at the Alaska Airline Center.

Anchorage, Alaska – The University of Alaska Anchorage had 12 different players record a point in a 6-1 win over Alaska Fairbanks in game two of the Alaska Airlines Governor’s Cup Saturday.

San Diego, Calif. (Nov. 15) – Alaska Anchorage senior guard Jazzpher Evans scored 18 points to aid a fourth-quarter comeback, but Point Loma guard Kaylee Byon converted a layup with 7.1 seconds left to lift her team to a 66-64 women’s basketball victory Friday at Golden Gymnasium.
