The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) will offer a Information Literacy Community of Practice on Nov. 21.
Teaching students how to analyze and validate the information they see is crucial to their success inside and outside the classroom. If you want to learn about instructional strategies that help students determine appropriate sources, appraise credibility, and use information ethically, we hope you join the Information Literacy Community of Practice (CoP)! Page Brannon and Jennifer McKay, professors of library science, host this CoP on the last Friday of the month (Nov. 21, Jan. 30, Feb. 27, and March 27) from 12 - 1 p.m. on Zoom.
