UAA skates to win at Bentley

Waltham, Massachusetts – Judah Makway and Ty Spencer each scored their first career goals to lead Alaska Anchorage to a 3-2 win at Bentley Saturday.

For the second straight night the Seawolves scored first when captain Coner Cole scored a power-play goal with his shot from the faceoff dot at 8:53 of the first period. Camden Shasby and Ryan Johnson assisted on the goal.

The two teams traded short-handed goals in the third period.

Ty Spencer scored his first career goal short-handed at 4:58 for the Seawolves, and Pat Lawn countered with a short-handed goal at 9:55 for the Falcons.

Judah Makway collected his first career goal when he tipped in a shot by David Jesus at 11:02. Logan Acheson earned an assist on the goal.

Owen Goodbrand scored a late goal from the slot for the Falcons at 17:53.

Tyler Krivtsov made 34 saves in his third career win for the Seawolves.

UAA finished 1-for-4 on the powerplay, and held Bentley scoreless on all four of their opportunities.

The Falcons out-shot the Seawolves 36-20.

UAA will play at Stonehill Tuesday.
