Biography

Kerry was born in California and has lived in Washington and Idaho. She moved to Alaska in 2002 and resides in Anchorage. She has worked at UAA for ten years in the areas of Student Media and Student Activities, and Residence Life, and has fifteen years of experience working in a university setting. When not in the Residence Life office, Kerry is a freelance writer and commissioned artist, and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Kerry has also served UAA as an adjunct faculty member with both the Computer Networking & Office Technologies (CIOS) and English departments, and in partnership with the Chugiak-Eagle River Campus (CERC), teaching courses in Business Writing, Office Procedures, Creative Writing in 4 Genres, and Writer's Workshop: Intermediate Non-fiction.
