Dear Betty,

I had unprotected sex, and he fully ejaculated in my vagina.  Could I be pregnant?  My breasts are sore when he touches them and he thinks I could be.

Dear Reader,

Anytime you have unprotected sex there is a risk of pregnancy.  If it has been less than 5 days since the unprotected intercourse, you can use Plan B (emergency contraceptive).  This can be obtained at the SHCC or at certain pharmacies in town without a prescription.  If it has been 7 to 10 days post intercourse you may either do a home pregnancy test or come into the SHCC for a $8 test.  The sooner you know if you are pregnant, the better.  You can also make an appointment at the SHCC for a contraceptive consult to save yourself from worry of pregnancy.  It is also easy to obtain condoms, they are free to students at the SHCC, to use for contraception and also to prevent transfer of some sexually transmitted infections.
