I am a female student and have a concern about my period. My period is not monthly (or 28 days) basis. I cannot predict when is going to be my next period. Is there a way that I can control my period?
Thanks for your question dealing with irregular menstrual periods. Yes, there is help available; since every woman is unique it is important to see a health care provider for an evaluation. You may call to make an appointment with a health care provider at the Student Health and Counseling Center at 907-786-4040. A thorough history and exam will give clues as to why your menses are irregular, and then treatment options can be explored.
