What are the symptoms of pregnancy on the first week?
During the first few weeks to first four weeks of pregnancy, you may experience no signs, or you may have nausea, vomiting, breast tenderness and tingling, urinary frequency and urgency. Amenorrhea, or a missed menstrual period is the sign to do a pregnancy test, if you have had unprotected intercourse.
If you have missed a period with unprotected intercourse, be sure to do a pregnancy test. If you are an eligible UAA student, you may make an appointment at the Student Health and Counseling Center to have a pregnancy test. A pregnancy test may be positive as soon as 7 to 10 days after intercourse.
