Fridays ~ 8:00am - 5:00pm
Closed Thursday ~ 1:00-2:00pm for staff meeting
Summer Semester Hours
Monday - Friday ~ 8:00am - 5:00pm
Closed Daily ~ Noon - 1:00pm

 



After hours:
In an emergency, always activate the Emergency Medical System by dialing 911 if you are off campus.  On campus dial 911 or 64911.

In a psychiatric emergency, please call Emergency Services (907) 563-3200, or go to the Providence Hospital Psychiatric Emergency Room.

Services:
The Student Health and Counseling Center provides primary health services for physical and mental health, diagnosis, and treatment of general physical and mental health conditions as well as education and support to help maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Included in our Primary Care services,  we offer:

 Birth control and emergency contraception
Campus outreach and promotions
Classroom lectures
Community referral for complex or specialized medical needs
Depression screenings
Emergency food cache for students
Free HIV screening 
  TB tests $5.00 each
Prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
Program specific health requirements
Public health interventions
Routine immunizations
"Stress buster" events such as free lunches during final exams
Travel counseling and travel immunizations
Weekly health education seminars
