The best season to hike Flat Top is between May and September;however a breathtaking

the famous Earthquake Museum, a simulation of the earthquake that struck southeast Alaska
in 1964. There are also the State's largest museum houses, the Anchorage Museum at
the Rasmuson Center and the Anchorage Museum of History and Art located downtown.
