UAA-ASD ACCUPLACER - Early Placement Testing and Advising Project
Offered to Juniors in the Anchorage School District
High School Juniors! Are you on track for college?
When you enroll in the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA), you may be asked to take the ACCUPLACER placement test to measure your academic skills in reading, writing, and math. The test scores determine what level of math and English you will take to begin your studies at UAA.
Do you want to know if you are prepared for college math and English?
If you are in 11th grade, taking ACCUPLACER at your high school is a chance for you to get a head start on preparing for college-level coursework. The test results will help you decide what classes you should take in 12th grade to get ready for college math and English.
UAA ACCUPLACER consultants will meet with you after the test to discuss your scores and recommend steps you can take to prepare for college math and English.
Sign up for the Early ACCUPLACER test at your high school.
ACCUPLACER testing is scheduled at each ASD High School during the school year. For more information, see your counselor or stop by your Career Resources Center.
Please sign up a week prior to your school's testing date by selecting your high school from the list below.
