No Wrong Door - A Community Approach to Accessing Safety

Session Abstract

This session will discuss how services for victims with disabilities can be improved through a community collaborative approached called D.A.R.T. (Disability Abuse Response Team).   Currently the model is established in Fairbanks, Juneau, Bethel, and Kenai which has not only improved services for victims with disabilities, but also has strengthened relationships between community providers from an array of disciplines.
