Accreditation Core Theme Evaluation Teams

In the summer of 2012, five ad hoc Core Theme Evaluation Teams were established to evaluate UAA's accreditation core theme objectives and indicators. Fifty-five faculty, staff, and administrators served on these teams, representing each school, college, community campus, and administrative division. The work of each team was facilitated by an administrative co-lead and a faculty or staff co-lead.

The teams were charged with the following tasks:

  1. Reviewing available accreditation indicator data
  2. Recommending targets and thresholds of concern
  3. Evaluating performance based on the data
  4. Making recommendations for improvement of performance and data
  5. Recommending any necessary changes to the current list of accreditation objectives and indicators.

The combined recommendations are currently being compiled and summarized by the Cabinet Subcommittee on Institutional Planning and Assessment. When this is done, this website will be updated and the results of this work will be shared with the university community.
